Minnie Motorcar Pwerle - Colour

Minnie Pwerle was an extremely powerful and prolific artist who was born near Utopia. Along with Emily Kame Kngwarreye she became one of the greatest female Aboriginal artists. Her involvement in traditional ceremonial practices and rituals were the source and inspiration for her art, including the many artworks featuring important body paint designs seen on women’s bodies during ceremonies. Size 150x60cm
