Jimmy Wavehill

 was one of the well-known stockmen to walk off Wavehill Station in protest in 1966, a move that inspired the Aboriginal movement. His art is powerful and vibrant, commanding attention. This work is titled: Frog Dreaming, and indicates a water soak where frogs stay dormant underground until rain comes, then they erupt from the ground in force. Jimmy’s art is sought be many collectors as his legacy to the Wavehill walk off is huge. Size 90 x 60 cm.
